In the last days of 2019, my first “proper” release – meaning an EP under my real name – found its way to (not to many) shelves of record stores.
The 4-track-EP is a seemingly eclectic journey, originating from some of the many unexploited potential starting points of electronic and electro-acoustic music in my artistic life.

After a ten-year full abstinence of recorded output besides contract work – and only ever having released music as a member of bands or collectives – I finally found it to be inevitable to not only release some music, but to do it as a solo artist, not hiding behind a pseudonym, an ensemble or even ironic distance. “Back to where it never started” is the first product of a long time filled with lots of artistic and personal moments of growth, of finding the courage for imperfection and embracing the potential of constraints.
